Roger Thorpe won over a shorter trip at Southwell earlier and Spirit Of Gondree has recorded all four wins on the all-weather over shorter distances. But Evacusafe Lady scored over track and trip last week to land a double and should go well again, despite a penalty, and is preferred to Classic Mission, who has been raised 7lb after just missing out here last month. BON PORT won at Lingfield in July and finished a close-up fourth over course and distance last time. Dropping down a grade with William Buick on board, a return to winning ways looks imminent.
