      Verdict

This is tougher than the race Willkommen won over track and trip in May and he’s been raised 9lb. Gold Fleece finished runner-up at Beverley when ahead of Fayetta and the latter has subsequently gone close at Pontefract. Gold Arch is another upped in class after placing at Ripon while Lingfield third Bartimaeus steps up in distance along with SWANSDOWN. The latter is also fitted with headgear for the first time after suffering a narrow-margin defeat over 1m2f at Yarmouth and the Haggas filly gets a tentative vote in a wide-open contest.
