Verdict

The versatile WILLIAM HAIGH has won four in a row on the all-weather ranging from a mile at Southwell to today's C&D. He takes another step up in class here but is difficult to abandon as Alan Swinbank's charge has scope for further progress over middle-distances. Queen Of Demark is also unexposed and has won here although she couldn't live with Brunston over C&D last time and the latter has plenty to find with Layline on earlier running at Lingfield. The latter should go close again today, while Fanditha looked more like her old self when third behind True To Form at Kempton on Wednesday and she's not out of this with a similar performance.
