A change of scenery may well have revitalised Luscifer, who was beaten only a length over track and trip on his debut for Ron Harris’ yard. But SWINGING EDDIE (NAP) also posted a much better effort when beaten less than a length in Class 4 company here recently and the latter gets the vote in this lower grade with an apprentice’s allowance further helping his cause. Ring Of Gold went close over a longer trip at Chelmsford last time and One Step Beyond will be sharper for a recent comeback while Alcazan had the measure of The First Hurrah when winning here in September.
