      Verdict

      It would be no surprise to see a better effort from Lucky Money with his stable in flying form, but he faces four previous winners here. Stellar Express improved to win at Chester last time but this is tougher, while Alabanda makes her handicap debut after landing a Thirsk maiden. Ayr winner Ladykin finished a creditable third in better company at Newmarket last time and has leading claims, but PRIDE AND JOY is just preferred. He scored at Brighton before his close-up fifth in a higher grade nursery at Goodwood and might just have the edge racing off the same mark today.
