Verdict

Fire In Babylon won in a canter over 1m4f here 12 days ago but was beaten out of sight behind MEDIEVAL BISHOP in an amateurs' race at this track in May and the latter is now 2lb better off, not taking into account Rob Hornby's claim. Tony Forbes' charge has to be the one to beat on that form. Lacey was beaten seven lengths over course and distance last month and is 2lb higher while the others have some improving to do with Stoneham still 6lb higher than when successful over 2m here in April, though he did win over hurdles last month.
