Verdict

MORE SPICE was having only his second start since March when gaining a smooth victory at Lingfield over Secret Millionaire last month. He was well supported to do so and an extra 3lb doesn't look enough to prevent a quick follow-up. Frank The Barber's only victory in 24 starts came over the course and distance in October and he's 6lb higher while Quantum Dot arrives in good form having beaten Rat Catcher narrowly here three weeks ago for which a 2lb rise looks insignificant. Mountain Man has finished first past the post just once after which he was disqualified but hasn't been beaten far on his last two starts and is now on his lowest ever mark.
