      Verdict

      Crimson Fern has the form to win this at the expense of By The Edge and Mambazo. The selection is bidding for a hat trick of wins since winning at Lingfield and Wolverhampton last month. She carries a seven pound for her latest win when getting her head in front of Cadogen Square and as she did that with relative ease connections are keen to get her out quick before being reassessed. If showing her best she will prove difficult to beat. By The Edge is four pounds higher for her latest win over course and distance. She seems to have hit a bit of a purple patch this winter winning twice and rarely finishing out of the first three. She still seems fairly treated and will be certain to give punters a run for their money. Mambazo has in the past won off a higher mark than this and did run well to finish second to Littledodayno at Kempton on his penultimate run only to disappoint at the same track two days later. He seems to do most of his running in and around the London all weather tracks but has performed well on this surface a few times in the past so is worth noting in the betting market. But for the winner we return to Crimson Fern.
