Formwatch

Failed To Hit Chance off present handicap mark and loves this track; rarely runs a bad race.

Colonel Custer Serial winner this season but mainly in sellers; hard to tell if handicapper has finally got his measure as his last race was over a shorter than ideal trip and most probably falsely run ( leaders went off too fast;)

Western Chief (IRE) Placed at Royal Ascot over a mile further, this former Dermot Weld trained gelding has been hurdling and chasing with some degree of success; best watched on this occasion as he has not run competitively either on the flat or over the jumps for nearly two years.

Full Egalite Stays this trip and chances on best of his form but needs to find more on recent outings and does not seem a straightforward ride.

Doberman (IRE) Trying a longer trip for the first time in a while so there must be stamina doubts; finished in the first four in the last eight of his appearances on the AW.

Swinging The Blues (IRE) Appears to be running into form on the evidence of his recent second at Southwell over this distance, staying on nicely in the final two furlongs.

The Walrus (IRE) Won three times over hurdles this season; if translating this form to the flat he holds sound chances as he has proved himself effective over middle distances on Fibresand; good chance off rating of only 38.

Tajar (USA) Down to a fair mark but is generally inconsistent.

Dinky Poor selling plater; no real chance
