      Verdict

      Abbondanza is a tentative pick against Hoh Wotanite and Gunfighter. This is a tricky race and with proven hold up performers, it could be worth taking a chance that this race could be stolen by a tactical move and Ian Semple's charge looks to put all the ticks in the right boxes. It's sad that Tom Eaves won't be aboard tonight but Phillip Makin is useful enough at reading the pace. Hoh Wotanite flew from the clouds to take a race on Saturday night . There was a breakneck pace on that evening and it is not likely to pan out this way tonight. Gunfighter steps up in trip. He has won over seven furlongs previously and has looked as if this trip might suit. Alfresco has plenty of weight for what he has achieved. Bee Stinger is out of form whilst Master Pegasus won his first ever all-weather race last time out. New World Order is back from hurdling. Many possibles and Abbondanza might be able to nick it from the front.
