    Verdict

Brunello is a couple of pounds higher than when runner-up over course and distance last time but should still be thereabouts again. However, this will probably revolve around which of the three-year-olds, INHERITED or Train Hard, finds the most improvement from recent seconds at Hamilton and Bath respectively. Sir Mark Prescott's gelding is tried in blinkers and gets a narrow vote with Ryan Moore doing the steering, though it would be no great surprise should Mark Johnston's charge prevail. Captain Caroline was beaten less than a length at Kempton last time and looks the pick of the remainder, though Royal Etiquette is gradually coming down the weights.
