In depth

Verdict

Pretty low-grade fare but a few interesting ones of which TAMOK makes most appeal. Michael Bell's daughter of Australia has only had five starts and has improved for a gradual step-up in trip, finishing a running-on third over 1m4f at Chepstow last time. Hopefully, she can progress again and handle this first try on the all-weather. Lady Shanawell is an interesting contender as she followed up a best run on the level with a game success over timber at Cartmel and is clearly in good nick at the moment and should improve again for a yard enjoying a best-ever Flat campaign. Recent winner Melabi, Blyton Lass and Lazarus could all play a prominent role too.
