In depth

Verdict

MASAARR is penalised for winning at Lingfield in November but scored by four lengths on that occasion with subsequent winners behind. Roger Varian’s colt gets the vote having earlier finished in front of Glorious Army, runner-up at Chelmsford on last month’s reappearance. A winner over 6f here, Swiss Belle was well beaten last time and Sha La La La Lee is preferred on last year’s second at Doncaster. Timssaah is related to three winners and preferred to Honey Man and Qatar Glory of the newcomers.
