    Verdict

SMILING SUNFLOWER made a winning debut for Mick Appleby’s yard in a Class 3 race here. She’s penalised but drops down a couple of grades for this and can go in again. Plumette also scored here last month but Piffle went close over track and trip earlier with Valentinka behind and she looks a bigger threat. Misty Ayr and Amber Dew are harder to recommend though the former slides further down the weights.
