      Verdict

      THAI TERRIER has gone close over 1m6f here the last twice now. Mark Johnston’s charge should stay this far on that evidence and can go one better. Tynecastle Park is best at Southwell and placed at the latter track ahead of a below par Monjeni but better is expected from the latter on this surface while novice winner Riverfront will be sharper for a recent comeback and as he steps up in distance. Nelson River has been hurdling but was well beaten at Chepstow when last on the Flat.
