In depth

Verdict

Poppy Bond had been running well here in lower grade contests over shorter trips. But she never figured off today's mark last time. The remaining quartet all share the same handicap rating and Akdam won his maiden over track and trip early this year. He's won over hurdles since, while Slipper Satin also had a spin over timber on her first start for a new yard having won on the Flat in Ireland in August. Pixie Cut won in soft ground in France for Stan Moore in the same month and she makes her debut for new connections today. REBEL FORCE is another Irish import and she gets the vote with a recent outing over course and distance under her belt.
