Not My Choice lives up to his name here as although he is dropped to selling class for the first time and must be respected, he has shown little form since winning a Chester handicap in May and is taken on, with OUR ACQUAINTANCE. Back In The Red is another who drops to selling class for the first time and took a little Kempton event a couple of outings ago. He seems to need further than five furlongs but has sometimes given the impression that six furlongs is a little too far. His recent wins to runs record is not impressive and although he is consistent, it would be no surprise to see him outpaced in the closing stages. Punching won successive races in the spring, but his most recent efforts have suggested he has had enough after a busy campaign and he is passed over. Our Acquaintance won at Windsor in August and has shown enough recently, including a placed effort at Southwell last time, to suggest he is capable of taking this competitive contest. Our Acquaintance can prove a friend to punters.
