After narrow defeats on soft ground at Redcar and Carlisle, CUMBRIANNA didn't handle much faster conditions at Pontefract so hopefully this surface will see her back to her best and Paul Hanagan is a very positive booking. Percella was a 50/1 chance on her debut at Leicester but ran well and only weakened at the furlong pole over that 7f so should improve enough to get into the frame. Rennie Mackintosh is a half-brother to four winners and though well beaten on his recent debut at Redcar the soft ground was against him and better is expected. The newcomer Spirit Of Rosanna is related to several speedy winners and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a successful start so watch the market.
