Wait For The Will can defy topweight at the expense of Scottish River, Regency Red and Jazrawy. Wait For The Will has not won since June 2004 but showed signs last time that a revival is imminent. Gary Moore's 10-year-old travelled well for most of the way when eventually second at Lingfield, and can go one better before no doubt going back over hurdles this winter. Scottish River is always slowly away but has the ability to win a race of this nature if not getting too outpaced, while Regency Red has hit the crossbar on a few occasions and deserves a change of luck. Jazrawy made a lot of the running before fading badly at Nottingham, and this shorter trip may help, so he is another to consider, but Wait For The Will is the one to be on.
