        Verdict

        Plenty of guesswork needed as to which one of the leading contenders will improve for the step up in trip but EPONASTONE looks likely to do so as she's related to a Group 3 middle-distance winner and wasn't disgraced at Ascot on her latest start. Christingle looked a little one-paced when third over C&D last time but should finish closer today, but doubts surround the staying power of Pontefract fourth Intent. Taglietelle is not certain to last home either on the back of a fifth at Sandown and doesn't look in the same league as his half-brother and stablemate Side Glance.
