      Verdict

      Crisis Averted lines up for this having been declared a non-runner at Kempton yesterday and has more scope than the penalised Spreadable. The latter scored over 5f here last week while Poetic Choice won over track and trip in November but has been beaten in this higher grade since. Lady Frances is 5lb higher than her earlier win at Kempton but, though she's not easily dismissed, a chance is taken on VODKA TIME as he returns from injury. He made a promising start last year, winning at Newmarket in April, and may well have improved in the interim.
