Verdict

This may well be the most competitive race on this evening’s card. Fares Poet has dropped to a mark from which he should be capable of winning and Rotherwick will be thereabouts if reproducing the pick of his Turf form. Champagne Rules ran well at Newcastle last time when a huge price and Perfect Refuge’s only victory so far came over track and trip. The Game Is On and CLEM A are both seeking to follow up recent victories here in a lesser grade. The in-form Luke Morris partners the former for Sir Mark Prescott but the latter appears to have similar claims and may offer more value.
