    Verdict

A winner on the Flat when trained in France, Malakahna has won four times over hurdles for current connections but is conceding plenty of weight to the younger horses including Zenga. The latter returned a beaten favourite when only third at Goodwood and steps up in trip along with SUSPICIOUS. Ralph Beckett’s filly makes a belated seasonal debut but beat a couple of subsequent winners at Doncaster on her first outing and this extra distance looks sure to suit. Teagarden Jazz ran much better at Lingfield earlier than she did on soft going last time and could prove best of the rest.
