Verdict

Dr McFab gets the vote in the finale with News of The Day and Krakatau rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Hucking Heat last time out and although that horse has since let the form down he looks sure to improve for this longer trip and looks the one to be on. News Of The Day rates the main danger as she won well last time out when beating La Marmotte but that was a seller and this looks tougher so she needs to improve to win off this mark. Krakatau is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Homes By Woodford has had plenty of chances off this sort of mark so is taken on again and for the winner we return to Dr McFab who will be hard to beat.
