Mister Incredible and Phinerine look the two to concentrate on, with preference for the latter in a poor contest. A class 6 selling contest at Wolverhampton is hardly likely to set pulses racing, but a winner is a winner, and in that respect Phinerine has more chance than most here. The Ron Harris-trained four-year-old was successful in a similar race over the course-and-distance three weeks ago, the key to his victory that day being the step back up to six furlongs. His trainer wisely keeps him at that trip here, and there is no reason why he should not make a bold bid to follow up. His main rival appears to be Mister Incredible who was claimed out of Vince Smith's yard after landing a Southwell claimer a fortnight ago. He can give new connections some fun, but the feeling is that this faster surface will find him out today. Desert Light always seems to find one or two too good, while Teyaar is a shadow of his former self these days. The market may reveal whether anything else is fancied, but our vote goes to Phinerine.
