Verdict

Racing doesn't get much poorer than this but something has to win and it might as well be CELESTINE ABBEY. John Ryan's filly at least has a course and distance victory to her credit and though her latest form has been moderate, in the context of this event it doesn't look too bad. Out Of Aces has one decent run to his credit but that was on Fibresand while Edw Gold, who will be wearing a first-time visor, has been well beaten in three sellers on this track. Magic Round didn't run too badly when staying on over 6f at Kempton and could provide the main threat.
