Verdict
The City Kid has been in the form of his life ths season and is selected ahead of Elusive Warrior and Rabbit Fighter. The Stuart Williamds trained four-year-old was winning for the fourth time here at Wolverhampton when beating Northern Boy at the end of October. He just had to be pushed out to win by a length and there could be more in the locker.Elusive Warrior on the other hand hasn't won for almost a year, but has gone close in two races recently and should again be thereabouts. Rabbit Fighter is from a yard in great form and has also been knocking on the door recently. With a bit of luck in running from his high draw he should again make his presence felt. Cabourg hasn't yet took advantage of a lenient mark but does look best of the others. However The City Kid is the most consistent runner in the field an he gets the decision.
