Verdict
Anduril has, like a lot of Paul Blockley's horses, been in good form here recently but has been running over further and may not be so effective dropped to seven furlongs so the vote goes to Craic Sa Ceili who gets the vote ahead of No Grouse. The last mentioned returns to the all-weather on a decent looking mark and has to be respected if he can recapture his old form, although the David Evans-trained gelding disappointed during the latter stages of the turf season. Befriend, a stablemate of Anduril, may well bounce so a bigger threat is likely to come from Rock Concert, who has been running with some consistency of late. Stablemate Western Roots has claims on his best and is well treated on official BHB ratings but is not the most consistent of performers and of more interest may be Givemethemoonlight provided that she is fit enough after an absence. The vote though goes to Craic Sa Ceili, who showed his best form since leaving Mick Channon's stable when running out the good winner of a course and distance handicap last week. A reproduction of that effort may suffice.
