Spartan King and Douze Points arrive on the back of wins but both will find today's competition tougher, especially the latter who landed a huge gamble over C&D on his first start for John Butler and has been raised 13lb for his trouble. He's still not handicapped out of this on his best form, however, but MATAAJIR is preferred. Derek Shaw's charge has been threatening to get his head back in front off today's mark of late and this looks slightly easier. Forward Feline finished a place ahead of Darsan when fourth here last time and could figure while Bashama has scope for improvement stepping up in trip.
