Battle Of Marathon has won over the trip at Musselburgh and has also scored on this track though that was over the extended 1m1f course. Rajinsky, a juvenile winner over a mile at Sandown last year, won at Windsor on heavy ground in October though that was over 1m2f, as was his latest run at Newcastle. He's taking a big step-up in trip but Diodorus stays well as she's shown in recent starts over 2m on Turf. This could revolve around the race-fitness of WEATHER FRONT, a winner over hurdles, on Turf and the all-weather. With a strike-rate of 7-29 he was in superb form over timber when last seen a year ago completing a double at Hexham and Newcastle, the latest by 9 lengths. He should have plenty more to offer and hopefully will be ready after a long break. Dance To Paris stays the trip, likes the track and isn't badly treated so looks the main threat.
