Cotton Top is interesting here but narrow preference is for BUBBLY BRAVEHEART who can get the better of Mick Channon's filly and Taper Jean Girl. The selection clearly likes it here having taken second on both his course and distance starts, the last of which came on Monday in nursery company off a mark of 62. With the handicapper likely to put Alan Bailey's charge up a couple of pounds for that effort he's probably worth regarding as the best in at the weights and as a horse who arrives here in top form may take some beating. Cotton Top is less exposed than our selection having had just three career starts. After showing promise on debut the filly has failed to go on but drops in to selling company for the first time and with Chris Catlin taking the ride must be taken seriously, although the market may help with this one. In what promises to be a competitive race Taper Jean Girl is another with a solid chance. Having won a seller at Southwell on her final start for Marco Botti this one started a well backed favourite on debut for Ruth Carr but was ultimately disappointing, trailing home in ninth. It may however pay to forgive that effort as the horse was drawn wide and was a little slowly away before being chased up to get involved in the race and as one who was narrowly beaten here in similar company three starts ago it is safe to assume conditions will suit. From a better draw today and with Andrea Atzeni claiming 3lbs, compensation may well await connections. Tiger Hawk has to be respected for David Evans but that one was well held behind our selection last time and so a bigger threat may come from Izuizorizyain't who is still unexposed and promises to be suited by this step up in trip having stayed on well from the rear last time. In a difficult race we'll side with the course and distance form of Bubbly Braveheart.
