Ogre showed slightly improved form in a nursery for the first time here last month and Jamie Osborne's filly has to be respected but more solid claims are held by the progressive Caltire, with Space Pirate rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has landed a claimer and seller in his last two starts and could be well enough treated in a nursery first time to complete a hat-trick. Hawa Khana could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Tapas Lad has harshly been put up in the weights despite not winning. Shadows Fall has run better in his last two starts and has to be considered along with Jeff Pearce's Space Pirate, who makes his debut on the Polytrack. Plenty have claims but it is Caltire that gets the vote.
