Lady Gregory, Custodian and Kyles Prince are the three for the shortlist here and preference is for Lady Gregory. Henry Cecil has a reduced string these days but his runners are always worth noting and he saddles Custodia, a son of Giant's Causeway out of a Kalaglow mare. He is making his debut here and any market move should be heeded. Peter Makin's Kyle's Prince ran well on his Newbury debut, finishing fifth and was then just touched off at Lingfield last time. That was a good effort and he will go well. The selection though is Lady Gregory. Fifth on her debut, this Irish raider was second at Gowran Park next time in a big field and that form may be good enough here. Lady Gregory gets the vote.
