Verdict

A typically competitive handicap to conclude proceedings here and ALFIE TUPPER is a tentative selection to get the better of Prince Noel and What's Up Doc. The selection loves it here, with three course and distance wins to his name, including when beating Sabre Light from a 6lb lower mark last time out. The yard is also in really good form at the moment, so we'll chance him to produce the lifetime best he needs. Prince Noel is another who goes well at Dunstall Park, though he has not won since last November. The return here did him good when he was beaten just a head last time but a 2lb rise won't help. What's Up Doc acts on the polytrack and has the stamina for further than this after a 10f Lingfield win last time. From the same mark he looks a danger. Internationaldebut broke his maiden tag over 6f at Leicester in July and has his first run since here. He clearly has some ability, but untried on this surface or over this far, he has a bit to prove. Somerset Falls could be the fly-in-the-ointment as a potential improver for this step up in trip and as one who is lightly raced, but the more experienced Alfie Tupper can help pay for your supper.
