RIGHTWAY was made odds-on on his UK debut for Tony Carroll having shown promise for John Oxx in Ireland. He was only beaten a neck by the well-backed second favourite having looked the likely winner inside the final furlong so probably deserves another chance. Miniskirt missed the break and was eased close home when fourth at Windsor having finished second on her introduction at Salisbury. She looks the danger unless Laika, who has been placed in a bumper, takes a real liking to the surface. The trip is likely to be much too short for that one, however, and the others would have to improve to take a hand in the finish.
