After going close over C&D on a couple of occasions, FEAR NOTHING got off the mark at Lingfield in September. He has since moved to another yard and the change of scenery may spark further improvement in the three-year-old. He gets the nod ahead of the in-form trio of Grudge, Grand Stitch and Angelo Poliziano. Of the remainder, La Capriosa, Sloop Johnb and Colorus have been taking each other on at Southwell recently and it could be they save their best for the Fibresand, especially the former, whose six victories on sand have all come on that surface.
