Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

It will be interesting to see how Jamie Osborne's newcomer Rockfield Lodge performs on his debut but the son of Stravinsky faces no easy task with a more likely winner looking to be Non Sucre, who gets the vote over Phoenix Flight. The last mentioned represents the in-form yard of Sir Mark Prescott and has to be respected having made a promising debut when a creditable third on his Redcar debut. The son of Hawk Wing should get further in time though and may find the selection too sharp for him at this stage in his career. Mark Johnston's Casino Night is entitled to come on for her debut effort at Hamilton and makes more appeal than Ed Dunlop's Wannarock who was well held on his Windsor debut. The vote then goes to Paul Blockley's Non Sucre who was doing all of his best work late on in the race when staying on at the end of five furlongs at Folkestone last time and should appreciate the extra two furlongs today.
