Blood Eagle was still beaten seven lengths when runner-up at Lingfield though finished well ahead of Message. He’ll be thereabouts at the finish in this but the returning EAGLES BY DAY makes more appeal. The latter found only one too good over a mile at Nottingham on his debut in October but he’s the first foal of the smart stayer Missunited, placed in the Ascot Gold Cup, and Michael Bell’s Derby entry should improve for today’s longer trip. The remainder with experience make no appeal so the newcomer Isolate could get involved.
