Verdict

DOUBLE CARPET can get the better of Collingwood and Dvinsky in the nightcap. The selection is chasing the hat-trick tonight but he looks to be on an upward curve and he did win with plenty in hand last time. He gets on well with his young pilot Ross Atkinson and he can continue his hot streak. Divinsky won well on Tuesday night here but he is not well drawn for one that likes to trailblaze and on that basis he looks worth taking on. Collingwood wasn't beaten far at Dundalk last time and it will be interesting to see if there is any money for this Irish raider, especially as he has the plum draw. Princess Valerina, Distinctly Game and Trimlestown are others that can't be ruled out, but Double Carpet is an improving sort and he is taken to win again.
