Verdict

Six of these are course and distance winners with SON AND SANNIE having won this race on his only start here a year ago. He's now 2lb lower and has moved to Archie Watson who can get another victory out of him. Charming Kid is only 1lb higher than when scoring here in August but Dapper Man was having his 83rd start, though his first-ever here, when scoring from 3lb lower early last month. Outrage has won 10 races but none have been here, though he's won on Tapeta at Newcastle. None of the remainder can be dismissed in what looks a tight handicap.
