Verdict

Two of the year's leading apprentices have a chance in this finale. Georgia Cox rides Caledonia Laird while champion Josephine Gordon partners Catastrophe. Little separated that pair when they were close behind Mercifilly over course and distance last month, though they do have a bit to find to overturn that form with Oregon Gift. Roman De Brut is fairly consistent and Our Little Sister and Paradise Palm are others with claims. MARY LE BOW has won three of her nine starts on this track. Callum Shepherd won on her here in February and she should go close again if an absence since June doesn't prove an inconvenience.
