Lord Of Persia has an obvious chance having shown up well on his nursery bow over course and distance but he may be vulnerable to an above average newcomer and MOONLIGHT DASH may fit the bill. Saeed bin Suroor has his team in blistering form and the Newmarket handler has a strike rate with his juveniles here that is better than one in three so it would be no surprise to see this stoutly bred Derby entry make a winning start to his career. Support for Samarkand would bring him into the equation as the gelding was also entered for the Derby but he may not come into his own until next year which would leave the likes of Hartforth and Elusivity as bigger threats this afternoon. Angelic Upstart has finished down the field in two well contested maidens and may well find himself more at home in this contest so is another to consider.
