SEMANA SANTA made her debut at Southwell last month and showed up well until inexperience caught her out in the closing stages. She'll have come on a bundle for the run and this doesn't look the toughest of maidens. Secret Sonnet was a 33/1 chance on her opening run at Lingfield and missed the break. She wasn't stopping at the finish and will have benefited from the experience though another furlong wouldn't go amiss. John Joiner only raced over the minimum trip in his first two seasons with his best run coming on this track in September while Destroyer raced in decent company though finished last in a Chelmsford handicap on his final start. Royal Blossom is related to a couple of minor winners and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a successful debut so the market is best watched.
