Persian Fox, dropped 5lb for a recent outing in a claimer is the pick with Brouhaha and Abbeygate selected for minor honours. The selection does race very keenly but with a couple of potential front runners in the line up that can help his cause. Brouhaha appeared a very unlucky looser last time, just failing to peg back the eventually winner having met trouble in running when launching his challenge. That was a big step up on what he had shown previously and he should be involved. Abbeygate is very frustrating and is another likely to be suited by a fast pace. He is not the quickest but is consistent and has to be considered for the placings. Tabulate and Bramcote Lorne are others to consider but Persian Fox get the nod.
