Swinley had gone close in soft ground over track and trip before taking a backward step over 6f here last time. Royal Ambition finished closer at Bath on his debut than he did at Leicester back in May while Saras Hope was still beaten a long way when third at Nottingham and Treaty Of Dingle is preferred. Pulled up on her debut, LOVE POWERFUL shaped much better over 7f at Doncaster last time when leading the field until fading a couple of furlongs out. The drop down in distance today seems a logical move and she represents last year’s winning yard. Stablemate and newcomer Bright Red is also worth a second glance.
