      Verdict

Alibaba won a handicap at Yarmouth recently but a host of these are less exposed and go handicapping for the first time. That includes Lingfield maiden winners Oksana Astankova and Alveda with the latter narrowly beating Bythebay. Snowball Jackson, Risk Taker, Master Spy and Arafi are others with plenty of scope but SWOOPING EAGLE gets the speculative vote in a wide-open contest despite finishing only sixth at Lingfield last time given several of those in front have subsequently won.
