Freeloader only went down by a length when fourth behind Pango at Goodwood last month and is taken to resume winning ways here at the main expense of Impersonator and Submissive. The last mentioned is difficult to evaluate having only had two starts, latterly when landing a maiden at Wolverhampton, but does not look to be particularly well treated for his debut in this grade. African Sahara was well held off today's mark behind the fully exposed Norton at Sandown last time and is difficult to recommend so a bigger threat may come from Impersonator. John Dunlop's horses are slowly returning to form and the son of Zafonic has ground conditions to suit. Arctic Desert, who has slipped to a fair mark, and Mark Johnston's relatively lightly raced Mbosi are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Freeloader, who looked a shade unfortunate at Goodwood and is taken to gain compensation here.
