Verdict
A Sure Welcome and Lequinto are both previous course and distance winners and the latter was beaten under a length in a higher grade here a week ago. He ticks plenty of boxes while Live In The Moment was one of those most inconvenienced when the stalls failed to open properly at Epsom, though has been beaten since at Catterick. Antiphon won over 5f here last month but ran a shocker at Yarmouth 12 days ago. MAGICAL MERLIN looks the pick of the three-year-olds ahead of Animate, who may not be suited by a drop back to 6f, and can follow up his victory in a four-runner race at Lingfield two weeks ago having won here last year.
