      Verdict

      Richard Hannon has trained the last two winners of this and Blue Suede made a promising start when runner-up at Sandown. But it was soft going when MRS DANVERS won a Class 5 event on her racecourse debut at Lingfield. Given penalties only apply in this for winning Class 3 races or above, Jonathan Portman’s filly can go in again. Queen Celeste and Miss Rosina also escape penalties for their respective wins, though the latter has been beaten subsequently, while Whiteley looks up against it on her modest form to date.
