MORDRED runs well fresh and seems to like it here. He is only a pound higher when successful at the track last year but is having a first run for a new stable and has possibly been earmarked for a summer jumping campaign. The lightly-raced Classical Wave has been in good form on the all-weather and deserves another try on Turf but Newcastle winner Hotspur Harry is not as effective on this surface. Maiden Castle and Zambezi Magic could figure but may need this.
